Loretta and I just returned from Ireland and England, speaking to a congregation and also to a group of pastors from across Europe. The same financial problems facing our country are facing theirs. Watching the evening news in Ireland was like watching the news in the U.S. but with an Irish accent. The commentators were talking about government bailouts to lending institutions that had made sub prime loans and were now facing bankruptcy.
I guess you could say there is no place to run. Around the world, people are facing the same problems. The financial problems are global. The good news is, God's Word works no matter where you live and no matter how bad the crisis!
God never promised to take you where the financial blessings were, but to bring them to you. So rejoice. El Shaddai, the God of more than enough, is still alive and working in your life.
